Pupil Premium

How we support children who receive Pupil Premium Funding

The Pupil Premium is funding that comes into school based on the numbers of children from

  • low income families (eligible for free school meals)
  • children from service families
  • children who have been “looked after” by a Local Authority continuously for more than six months.

Schools may spend this money as they see fit to target areas of need, This can be academic, personal, emotional, family, long or short term needs.  This money enables us to do more for the children which enables them to achieve their personal potential.  We are required to publish online information about how we use the funding to ensure that parents/carers and others are made fully aware of the support that is being provided and the impact it is having on the children.
