Strategy Statement

Ash Grange is committed to support all students who have been impacted by the disruption to their learning as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. The additional funding will be used alongside established strategies use to raise standards of achievement and rates of progress.

 

Whole School Strategies

Developing and supporting remote learning:

  • Training in use of Teams for teachers and learning assistants
  • Training in use of Teams for students and parents/carers
  • Movement of key weekly homework to online platforms
  • Set up of teacher/parent/carers online communication
  • Long term loan of laptops for students

 

Targeted support for groups:

  • Shine programme to close gaps
  • Additional intervention programmes for specific group needs, including Mental Health and Wellbeing & Speech and Language development
  • Resources provided to children undertaking interventions
