Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, 12th June 2024, is our School Sports Day. Children will need to wear their PE kit and suitable sporting footwear. They can also accessorise with items matching their house colour from items at home (e.g., hair bands, caps, wrist bands, socks, etc.) Please do not go out to buy anything new. Children will also need to bring a water bottle and sun hat. Please apply sun cream before school.

Reception and Nursery: 10:45am - 11:45am

Years 1-6: 1:00pm - 3:15pm

We are excited to see all the children participating in a variety of fun and competitive activities. Your support and presence will make the day even more special, so please join us from 1pm via the gate at the bottom of the staff car park.

This is a friendly reminder about our special theme lunch menu scheduled for tomorrow, June 12, 2024. Children will still have a different choice for their red or green options; however, the seasonal menu will remain the same. Theme days are designed to add an element of fun and excitement to school meals, making lunchtime something the children look forward to.

12th June 2024 – SPORTS DAY

  • Red - Pizza Swirl or 1/3 pork sausage roll
  • Green – Pizza Swirl or 1/3 veggie sausage roll
  • ON THE SIDE - Crudité and dip
  • TO FINISH - Scone and jam or Fruit wedges

Teachers will be provided with the menu in class for the relevant dates, so the children are still able to book their meals on the day.

Thank you for your continued support in making our school meal times special.

We are deeply grateful for your recent donation to our school. Your contribution of £87.20 this summer, along with £110.15 in the spring and £215.35 in the autumn, has significantly supported our school, totalling an impressive £412.70. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and directly benefits our students.

We wanted to provide you with an update regarding Footpath Ash 483, which runs past the school.

Although the first round of maintenance was expected to start last week, it has not yet commenced. We are closely monitoring the situation. This path is classified as a Priority 1 footpath, and it is scheduled to be cut twice a year. The first maintenance should have start last week, and the second round is scheduled to take place between August 19th and August 31st.

Additionally, we have received feedback about the path being muddy at times. Our Highway colleagues have been informed, and there are plans for later this year to scrape back the path and clear the tarmac of any debris.

As Father's Day approaches, we want to extend our warmest wishes to all the fantastic fathers and father figures within our community. Whether you're a dad, stepdad, grandfather, or someone who takes on the fatherly role, this day is for you! 🌟
