Match Report - Netball Vs Walsh Junior School - November 2019
After two rescheduled fixtures, Ash Grange Netball Team finally took on Walsh Junior School in their last match of the season. The team showed off Ash Grange's colours with pride as they wore their new purple and gold kits for the first time. Their professional look was matched by their play on court as the team showed a far improved performance.
The first quarter ended in a draw, with Hannah scoring to make it 1-1. The second quarter was a shut out as the defense worked hard to stop their opposition scoring. As the light faded, Walsh were able to score a couple of goals in quick succession but the girls did not give up and Abi was able to score a goal in the final quarter. With a final score of 5-2, we had another unfortunate loss but this was our best team performance and lowest goal difference all season!
Well done to the Netball Team for their fantastic commitment to training and matches. We look forward to our summer tournaments as we continue to improve as a squad.
