On Thursday 3rd October, the Ash Grange Netball Team took on South Farnham (and the wind) in our second match of the season.
It was a much improved start from our first game two weeks ago as we only let in two goals in the first and second quarter. There were some excellent interceptions from our defensive pairings to keep the score low!
Unfortunately, there was a tough shooting opposition in the third quarter and we conceded seven goals but we were back to a tighter defence after that, only letting in two more goals for the rest of the match.
The team worked hard right to the end for a final score of 0-13 to South Farnham. Although the score line was harder than out first week, the play on court was much better and will only improve with practise!
Well done to Rebecca, Abi, Vicky, Sophie, Kelsey, Pachalo and Hannah. A special congratulation to Abi, who was nominated as player of the match by the other school.
