Dear Parents/Carers, 

The Parent Council meeting took place today, 10th June. The agenda and a recording of the meeting are now available on our website.

Please take note of the following important reminders:

Use of Bikes, Scooters, and E-Bikes:
Riding bikes, scooters, or e-bikes on school playgrounds is not permitted before or after school, regardless of age. An exception is made for Nursery 1 and 2 children, who may ride them on the front playground between 8:50 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. while waiting to enter Nursery. They must be supervised at all times by a parent and ride carefully to ensure the safety of others.

In addition, children must not ride bikes, scooters, or e-bikes down hills within or around the school grounds. This poses a significant safety risk. If this behaviour continues, we will have to reconsider allowing these opportunities for everyone.

Climbing Frames During Collection:
Please ensure that children do not play on the climbing frames before or during collection times. This helps maintain a safe environment while families are arriving and leaving the school.

Arrival Time:
Please do not enter the passage or side playground area before 3:10 p.m., as the children are still engaged in learning until this time. The school gates open at 3:00 p.m. specifically for Nursery parents to collect their children not to allow early access to the playground.

Leaving Time:
Nursery parents, please ensure you leave the playground by 15:05 if you are not waiting to collect KS 1 or KS 2 child/children.  The playground is not available to extra play after Nursery collection.
