How wonderful to see the class exhibitions back this week, the children shared their wonderful achievements this half term and were so proud of themselves. Thank you Year 4 for your performance of the Easter story, what a treat and all your hard work was a credit to you and the staff of Year 4. I hope all the children enjoyed their Easter gift from school – yummy eggs for all.
This week the Year 2 and 6 parents/carers met with the Classteachers to find out about the process for the government SATs this year. Year 5/6 parents/carers of those children going to the Oakwood Residential in May also met to find out more about it. The staff have put the presentation on the school website for reference. A number of questions were asked, these have been added to the presentation for all to see. If after the presentation talk, you believe that you child is not ready for this experience then please contact Mrs Gray or myself.
We raised a huge £696.50 for Comic Relief through our wear red days and sales of noses. Thank you all!

Funzone Y1-6 will swim on a Wednesday evening. There will be no ability to collect before 4.15pm whilst the children are swimming.
Reception class will be in Teeny Funzone at this time and will not swim.
Clubs will begin on Monday 9th May due to the bank holidays, and finish week commencing 27th June.

Squad Try outs for Y3+4 Rounders (Tuesday 8-8.45am), Y5+6 Cricket (Friday 3.20-4.15pm) and Y5+6 Athletics (Thursday 3.20-4.15pm) will take place on the week starting 25thApril.
The squads are for the selected children who will enter inter-school competitions.
Our Year 2 children would love to visit a local allotment (within walking distance). If you are able to help please contact the school office.
