We are excited to announce that trials for our Elite Sports Clubs will begin next week (commencing Tuesday 20th September). Please find below a timetable of when these trials will take place. Following a hugely successful summer of sport for our Women's National Football team, and our Commonwealth Games athletes, we strongly encourage your child to attend trials if they interested in one of these sports. There will be opportunities for children to represent Ash Grange in District competitions, should they be selected for fixtures.

Please take note of the following key information before trials take place:

• Children do not need to 'sign-up' to attend a trial. They will need to bring their PE kit, water bottle, and suitable footwear to school with them on the day of the trial. Please meet Mr. Barnett in the Hall after you have changed into your PE kit.
• All clubs are open to both boys and girls
• Children can try-out for as many clubs as they would like to
• Children and parents will be informed of the results of the trial the following day.
• The trial will take place on the same day and time that the club will run each week until February half-term. Please ensure that your child is able to commit to this date and time every week before trying out for the club. Failure to attend training sessions may result in your child being removed from the club
• For all afternoon trials, parents should collect children FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE
• For morning gymnastics trials, parents should drop their children AT THE SCHOOL OFFICE. Children should bring their school uniform to change into after the trial (if it is not a PE or swimming day)
• These clubs will run until February half-term. There will be trials for summer sports clubs after February half-term.

There has been a change to the days for the Gymnastics trials and clubs.
This is due to those ins Year 6 participating in the tutoring support (invited students only).
