Week beginning 19.7.21

What a fun week we have had with sports, productions, new teacher morning and everything else going on!

Covid Case

We had a potential case in Nursery 2 that I am delighted to say came back with a negative result with the PCR test, so no cases to report.  Nursery 2 are back to school on Monday.

Covid Precautions from Monday 19th July until further notice

Our procedures remain the same.

Masks are still required on site inside and outside – no change

Bubbles and siblings, will be send home in case of a positive case within a class – no change

But if the PCR test comes back negative for any child in the bubble/sibling then there is no need to self-isolate for any period so they can return to school immediately.

The children had a wonderful morning with their new class teams and in their new locations, see the list of who is where in September below.

Staff for Sept 2021

Please note all teachers have a 10% PPA release for planning, preparation and assessment time, this is taught by other staff who are responsible for Swimming, PE, Assemblies, Me Time and Music lessons.

The school office will be open for COLLECTION ONLY of online orders on 1st September between 2pm and 3.30pm

Sizes and information can be found on the website at

When the current Year 5 children move up to Year 6 in September, they will be given a school tie. Please ensure they have white school shirts for their uniform, not polo shirts as these cannot take a tie.

Last Day of Term – 21st July (normal end of day hometime)

We normally have a class party with families bringing in food and drink to share but with the current restrictions on sharing food and the fact that the children will have a picnic lunch we are going to have a tuck shop for the children to enjoy.

Children throughout the Nursery and School can buy a bag of sweets 50p (a normal scoop size that we give at Tuck Sales), to enjoy at the class game/video session.  Parents need to book these online through Scopay, under trips and events, there are gelatine and sugar free options available. Children cannot bring their own alternatives.

Lunches – Week B

From September 2021 the cost of a school dinner will be £2.45 in line with other Surrey Schools.

Remember to order your child’s meals two weeks in advance through

On the last day of term (21st July) the school children enjoy a picnic lunch before their class parties in the afternoon. There will be no hot meals available on this day. We are unable to accept any further bookings for this lunch.

  • Main choice (Red) – Chicken and Sweetcorn
  • Vegetarian (Green) – Egg and Cress
  • Alternative (Blue) – Tuna and Cucumber

Health Education England - Thinking of returning to your role as a healthcare professional?

This message goes out to all parents, carers and members of the local community who may once have been a healthcare professional such as a nurse or midwife and now considering a return. Returning healthcare professionals have a key role to play in ensuring patients and service users have access to experienced and well-trained care staff equipped with the right skills. Health Education England (NHS) provide funding to support the pathways to return and are keen to support or answer any questions you may have if you are considering returning to perhaps nursing, midwifery or if you trained as an allied health professional (AHP) or a healthcare scientist (HCS) but have since left the profession.  Please do contact Health Education England for more information on: 01865 932097 or email
