Anti-Bullying Week & Children in Need

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are excited to share with you the plans for next week Monday 10th to Friday 14th November, which promises to be both meaningful and fun for the children. As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting kindness, respect, and community spirit, we have organised a series of activities to mark Anti-Bullying Week and to support Children in Need.

Here’s what each year group will be doing:

  • EYFS – Showing kindness through photos and wristbands
  • Year 1/2 – Superheroes theme
  • Year 3/4 – Creating posters/collages with anti-bullying messages, inspired by artwork and poetry
  • Year 5/6 – Designing an Anti-Bullying Week Newsletter

Throughout the week, children are encouraged to wear odd socks or tights with their school uniform to celebrate individuality.

For more information, please visit our Anti-Bullying page on the school website.

On Friday 14th November, to support Children in Need, children may come to school wearing pyjamas or onesies. We kindly ask for a minimum donation of £2, which can be made via Scopay or brought in as cash on the day, to be handed in within the classroom. Please note that no merchandise will be sold at school, all funds raised will go directly to the charity.

Best wishes
