Half Term Project Details and Homework Ideas

The new projects run for the Second half of the Spring term. Homework contributions can be made throughout the half term, please make sure your child brings in something that they have worked on at home.
Reception class will be reading fairy tales, performing shows and writing our own stories.
For your child’s homework we would like them to pick one of the following to complete:
Make a crown for a fairy tale princess
Create a shield for a fairy tale knight
Make a gingerbread person, remember to take photos of your child making it
Draw a picture of a favourite fairy tale character and can your child add a speech bubble?
Create a fairy tale land and can your child add labels?
Write a letter to a favourite fairy tale character.
The Early Years Curriculum
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which uses continuous play and exploration to learn. Adults plan both adult supported and child initiated activities that enable the children to develop social skills, self confidence and independence in a range of contexts.

One female relative e.g. mother, grandmother, auntie. (Please no siblings) is welcome to join the class to spend some time taking part in some Mother's Day activities.
