Dear Parents/Carers, 

We are looking forward to celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March 2026 with a fun-filled timetable designed to inspire a love of reading across the school. As we plan ahead, I wanted to share a reminder about our two‑year cycle for events. We will continue with the approach of having one year where students dress up, followed by a year without dressing up

This year is  a non-dress up year. Instead, the day will focus on a wide range of enjoyable reading activities that will engage every pupil. Children will take part in storytelling sessions, shared reading, book‑themed challenges, and plenty of opportunities to explore new authors and genres.

We hope this approach will make the day enjoyable and accessible for all families, while still capturing the excitement and magic of World Book Day.
