What my child will be learning this year
Our Current Topic is ‘How many pebbles on the beach?’
“A bear that was big, a bear that was small and a bear that was tiny!”
This half term we are exploring plants and animals that live on the seashore. We will be looking at natural materials such as pebbles and sand and learning through themed songs and stories.
The new projects run for the first half of the Autumn term.
Help your child to prepare for their project
Below are some of the exciting learning activities for you to try at home;
- Explore sand using buckets and spades,
- Investigate water through filling and pouring using different containers,
- Sharing books about the seaside.
