This half-term we are going on adventures and exploring places. We will be making and following maps and plans to take us on exciting journeys. We will be looking at different types of transport and different countries they could visit.

The new project runs for the second half of the Summer Term.

Help your child to prepare for their project

Below are some of the exciting learning activities for you to try at home.

• Look at different types of transport when you are out – have you been on any?
• Go for a walk – what can you see? hear? smell?
• Look at a simple map and see if you can spot different places on it.
• Talk about different journeys and holidays you have been on.
• Set up an assault course in the garden – can you go over things? Through things? Under things?
