What my child will be learning this year

Our Current Topic is ‘How many colours in a rainbow?’

“Come and help pull!” called the man. But the ENORMOUS turnip just wouldn’t budge!

This half term we are learning about Autumn and colour. We will be exploring colour mixing using paints, water and creative materials. We will learn about seasons and festivals through themed songs and stories.

The new projects run for the second half of the Autumn term.

Below are some of the exciting learning activities for you to try at home.

  • Explore how to mix colours to create new ones using paints.
  • Investigate autumnal colours and natural items when out and about.
  • Share books about colour, seasons and nature.
