Bright Lights, Big City

Here are some ideas for your child's project homework. Try one of these or something else project related.

Project homework is due on Friday March 20th 2026.

•    Make your own city landscape painting- use a black silhouette for the buildings and paint the sky at sunset.

•    Build a real or fantasy city using Lego, blocks or 3-D junk material.

•    Make a fact file of a UK capital city- London, Belfast, Edinburgh or Cardiff.

•    Make a model of a London city landmark. Use LEGO or recycled materials.

•    Draw a map of a city.

•    Write an adventure of Paddington bear in London.

•    Make a flag of one of the UK countries- England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Find out about each flag.

•    Write a diary entry for someone in the Great Fire of London like Samuel Pepys did.

•    Make a timeline of the Great Fire of London.

•    Visit London and see the Monument to the fire. Take some photos of the buildings and landmarks there.

•    Bake some bread like Thomas Farriner in Pudding Lane.

Little Wandle is our phonics scheme.  Here is the link to explore more of what this looks like for your child.
