Sports Clubs and Events

Children can sign up for a variety of elite clubs to improve their fundamental skills.   These teams often compete against other schools in the Farnham and Ash District Sports Association competitions. To be selected for an elite team, children must be successful in open trials, or perform to a particularly high level in PE lessons. Each term there will be new opportunities to try out for our elite sports teams.

Children at Ash Grange take part in several inter-house sports events throughout the year. The highlight of the summer term is our annual Sports Day. Sports Day is a fun and active day that allows students to experience friendly competition both as an individual and within a team. The ethos of our Sports Day is enjoyment and participation for all, and we expect every child to play a full and active role in the day. Children will take part in a range of fun, multi-skill activities that will challenge their strength, speed, agility, and coordination. They will also participate in more traditional track and field events. Children compete for points towards their house team total, and the winning team will be awarded with the coveted sports day trophy at the end of the day.
