Dear Parents & Carers,

To widen the children’s experience of our new topic “Off with her head” we have organised a trip to Hampton Court Place on Thursday 6th October 2022.

During our visit we will be learning about life in the Tudor court, fashion, and food (for the rich people) in Tudor times.  This is a wonderful opportunity to bring their history learning to life.

We will be travelling by coach, leaving school at 9am and will then return to Ash Grange by the end of the school day. 

Your child will need to:

1. Wear full school uniform and a coat.
2. Bring a backpack (for their lunch to go into) and a water bottle.
3. Choose from the following packed lunch option if they take a school meal or are entitled to a Free School Meal.  If you provide one from home normally, please send them in with this on the day:

• Tuna Sandwich  
• Cheese Sandwich

The packed lunch will be added on to your child’s Scopay account by the school office. The cost of the lunch will be £1.00 (unless your child receives free school meals). Please add your meal choice before Monday 3rd October.

There will be no cost for this trip as the Governors have authorised for this academic year 22-23, that the school will pay the cost of educational trips. This has been put in place to help support families during the current higher cost of living period.

Please sign the consent form, so that your child can attend this trip.
