Dear Parents/Carers,
Happy half term to you all. We have enjoyed a wonderful half term of learning and experiences, thank you for your support and partnership. I hope our new families have felt welcomed and now feel very much part of Ash Grange.
Our Year 3 finished the half term with a delightful Harvest Assembly to teach us all about Harvest, Farming, Climate Change and a Greek Myth, a fantastic performance. Well done Year 3.
Thank you to everyone for your kind food donations for the Farnham Food Bank, they collected the 12 shopping bags of food and a donation of £187.50; your generosity is so appreciated.
Half term is for the next week, we return to nursery and school on Monday 30th October
Please note as published we have an INSET day for staff training on Friday 24th November when Ash Grange is closed for pupils.
Some key events to be aware of next half term:
- Year 6 parents you need to apply for your child’s Secondary School place by October 31st 2023.
- 7.11.23 Parent Council Meeting 9am online, we do have some vacancies
- Week of 13.11.23 – Anti-Bullying Week – lots of learning to help children understand this important issue
- Mufti Day for Children in Need 17th November – children wear pyjamas and make a £2 donation to Children in Need charity.

To everyone who has donated to our Harvest food bank appeal, thank you very much. We have raised an amazing £151.00 so far in money donations and have a growing tower of food in the school office.
If you are able to donate anything to this wonderful course, please do so by dropping off to the school office or making a money donation on scopay by Friday 20th November 9 am as all the donations are being collected to go to the food bank.
Let's try to make our food tower even bigger.

We have now made the next Parent Lunch available for you to book online. If you would like to attend on Thursday 1st February 2024, please complete your meal choice using the form available on your Scopay account, along with payment of £2.60. Please only make one payment of £2.60 even if you have more than one child.
Please note: We cannot take any additional bookings after 4.pm Wednesday 17th January 2024. Payments can also be made via the school office.

We are excited to announce on Thursday 12th October our second Parent Lunch. This is for classes in Reception to Year 6, we do not have the space to host this in Nursery.
This is an opportunity for one family member to enjoy a school lunch with your child/ren. Due to the size of the hall we are only able to accommodate one family member.
We have two menu choices available a meat or vegetarian option.
If you would like to attend, the cost of a hot meal is £2.60. You only need to make one payment even if you have more than one child. Payments can be made via your Scopay account-Events/Parent lunches or alternatively you can pay in the office. You can make your choice of meal by completing the form in your Scopay app.
If you have more than one child they will all join you on the first sitting at 12 noon.
The closing date for this meal is Monday 9th October 2023 by 12 noon.
