    Good Morning,

The School based Immunisation Team are currently recruiting for some additional administrative support from September to December, during our busy Flu season.

We would be extremely grateful if you could help us by including the following in your school newsletter?  Our roles are perfect for mums (or dads) looking for a temporary role, to earn some extra money for Christmas and to fit around school hours (9am to 2pm).  The closing date for these roles is 16th May so it would be amazing if you could help us by sending something out this week?

Would you like some extra income while contributing to our community?

Join our team for a 14-week mission as a Flu Immunisation Administrator (£23,575 per annum pro rata).

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work within our school-based immunisation team, based at locations across the South- West of Surrey, to support with the delivery of the school based 2024 flu vaccination programme.

  • Ash Road Bridge - Foreman Road construction phase 2

    Mon 13 May 2024

    Dear Parents/Carers

Please find details regarding the construction work on Ash station bridge phase 2. Please allow additional time for drop-off and pick-up, as the work may cause delays.

Ash Road Bridge – Foreman Road construction phase 2

Please be aware that on Wednesday 15 May we will be changing the traffic management layout in Foreman Road for the next stage of road widening work.

The section of Foreman Road between Foreman Park and Ash Church Road will be reopened to traffic. The section between the right turn out of Foreman Park and the left turn out of Vyne Walk will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrians.

There will be no change to the diversion route for drivers, and signs will direct traffic between Foreman Road and Ash Church Road via Grange Road, in both directions.

Pedestrians will be diverted between Foreman Road and Ash Church Road via Vyne Walk and Foreman Park.

This stage is expected to be in place for approximately 9 weeks and we will contact you again before further changes.

We apologise for any disturbance or inconvenience caused by our works.

These dates may change, so please check the Guildford Borough Council website for up-to-date information (www.guildford.gov.uk/ashroadbridge).

Please subscribe to receive regular updates, ask questions or provide feedback by emailing ashroadbridge@volkerfitzpatrick.co.uk. You can be removed from this list at any time.

  • Sunhats & Sun cream

    Fri 10 May 2024

    Dear Parent/Carer,

Now that the warm weather has finally arrived, it is important that children bring a named sunhat into school every day. We also ask that all children wear sun cream to school which is applied before they arrive in the morning as this offers protection during the school day.

For children who can apply sun cream independently, they may bring their own sun cream to school. This will remain in their locker for them to reapply at lunchtimes. They can then return to our air conditioned classrooms!

For nursery children there is plenty of shaded areas however, in in extreme conditions they will remain indoors.

     Best wishes

    The office team
