Ash Library

Story Time is every Tuesday at 10.30am. Library story times are generally aimed at 2-5-year-olds and provide a fun and enjoyable introduction to books and libraries for young children. Sharing books and stories with young children helps to build good language and listening skills, giving them a head start when they begin school.

Rhymetime is every Thursday at 10.30am and is aimed at babies and toddlers. Rhymetime is based on sharing nursery rhymes, action songs and percussion music. It is fun, interactive and noisy! Nursery rhymes are great for language development as they have a lot of rhythm and repetition.

Forest Kids

I have been approached by a group starting a wonderful opportunity for our children aged 5-11. It runs fortnightly on a Saturday morning for children to have fun in the forest with lots of activities.  There are pick up and drop places, including the One Stop nearby. Please have a look at the flyers and see if this is something your child would enjoy.

If you would like support to complete the application on their website at https://forestkids.org.uk/.

The classes are fun and vibrant, designed to help your individual child’s needs, whether they need a little help to grow their confidence on stage, to make new friends, or even to help them to become more confident in social situations – all the while learning the skills and techniques needed to perform on stage. New 5-11Y class starting in January 2023!
