In addition to our sports clubs, we offer a range of enrichment opportunities throughout the year for all children at Ash Grange Nursery and Primary School.

Children take part in a number of 'fun runs' alongside their teachers throughout the year. These have included the One Run Global Relay and our annual 'Santa Dash' on the school field at Christmas. This is a fantastic opportunity for students and staff to exercise together by competing as many laps of the field as possible in 15 minutes. House points are awarded for each completed lap of the school field.

Each week our house captains organise and deliver inter-house sports competitions during lunch break for each year group. This not only provides a fantastic opportunity for children across the school to win points for their house team, but also develops the leadership and communication skills of our Year 6 house captains.

Finally, we regularly invite specialist sports coaches into school to deliver 'masterclass' sessions to our pupils. In the last academic year, our children have enjoyed specialist rugby, dance, skateboarding, and cricket coaching sessions. We were also fortunate enough to host former England Rugby captain Jason Robinson OBE, who delivered an inspiring presentation on his sporting journey before taking the time to coach our students on the school field. 

 There are further exciting enrichment opportunities planned for students throughout the next academic year.
