Dear Resident
Ash Road Bridge – Railway Possession works
I am writing to inform you that, as part of the wider Ash Road Bridge scheme, we will be carrying out essential drainage works in the vicinity of the level crossing.
These works are scheduled to take place during a planned Network Rail railway closure from 12.30am on Saturday 29 November 2025 to 4.00am on Monday 1 December 2025. During this time, we will be installing critical drainage infrastructure beneath the railway line. This work is necessary to complete the drainage network and will enable us to remove the temporary pumps and fencing currently in place.
The level crossing will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists at all times, however, please observe barriers and signs to get you around the works safely.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we carry out these important improvements.
Yours faithfully,
Charles Gordon
