Dear Parent/Carer, 

It is that time when I talk to the children about the changes in their bodies that some are experiencing now and will be coming in the near future.

As a maintained primary school, we are required to provide relationships education to all pupils, as outlined in Section 34 of the Children and Social Work Act 2017. The children will have an informal and relaxed presentation about the physical and emotional changes they may be experiencing or will soon encounter. They will also have the opportunity to ask questions about these changes.  These talks will be gender-specific, with boys and girls separated, and will last for approximately 30 minutes. I will be delivering the talks, and Mrs Neumann will also be present. If a child raises any issues, feedback will be provided to you.

If you do not wish for your child to take part in this event, please contact the school office by Friday, 28th March, to inform them. The talk will take place next week.
