Dear Parents/Carers,
We are delighted and so proud to share with you the Ofsted report from our inspection on 17/18th June 2025. We received an ungraded inspection and aimed for the highest level, significantly improved, which we achieved. What this means is that the school is now judged to be higher than good, there is only one grade above good which is outstanding. Therefore, if the school had had a graded inspection, it is most likely to have been judged as outstanding. The inspection framework is under review, so we do not yet know what this means for the next inspection, but we are thrilled with the outcome. There are no areas for improvement on the report! Of course we will strive to achieve even more.
The report is a delight to read and a credit to the children, staff, governors and parents who make Ash Grange all it is. We have picked out some of the wonderful highlights:
“All members of the school community are proud to attend this exceptional school.
The parent who noted that Ash Grange ‘isn’t just a school, it’s a family’ was absolutely right. Relationships between adults and pupils are extremely warm and nurturing. This enables pupils to thrive in their safe and happy school. “
Pupils’ well-being and academic success are at the core of the school’s work.
Pupils’ behaviour in class and around the school is excellent. Pupils are polite, friendly and welcoming.
Classrooms and the school grounds buzz with purposeful activity.
Pupils’ attitudes to learning are impeccable.
Pupils demonstrate high levels of respect towards each other and staff.
The school is resolute that all pupils will flourish socially and emotionally, as well as academically. Its exceptional offer to develop pupils personally plays an integral role in meeting this vision.”
Thank you for all of your support with the process and your partnership throughout your child’s journey at Ash Grange. Kind regards,
Mrs Curtis and the whole Ash Grange team.
