Dear Parent/Carer,
World Book Day on Thursday, 6th March, and just wanted to send a friendly reminder!
This year, children and staff are invited to dress up as their favorite book characters, whether in homemade or bought costumes, for a fun-filled day of reading activities.
As part of our efforts to promote sustainability, we’re also running a Costume Swap. If your child has outgrown any dress-up costumes in good condition, you’re welcome to donate them to the school office between 3rd and 7th February.
The donated costumes will then be available for families to browse and select from 12th February.
For those who donate a costume, you will receive a swap token to exchange for a “new-to-you” costume. From 12th February, all families can either swap their token for a costume or purchase one for £1.
We hope this initiative makes World Book Day more accessible and enjoyable for everyone while supporting sustainability.
