Dear Parent/Carer, 

To widen the children's experience of our topic, Year 6 are visiting the Imperial War Museum. The focus will be on “Children and how they lived” during World War 2. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring their historic learning to life.

We will be traveling by Train to London. We will leave school at 9:10 am and return to Ash Grange by approximately 4:00pm.

Your child will need to:

• Wear full school uniform and a coat.

• Bring a backpack (for their lunch and snack to go into) and a water bottle.

The required contribution will be £16.49 which you can pay on Scopay or at the school office by cash or card. We kindly ask that all contributions be made by Friday, 24th October 2025. Please note that if we do not receive the necessary contributions by this date, we will unfortunately have to cancel the trip.

If chosen the school-packed lunch will be added to your child’s Scopay account by the school office. The cost of the lunch will be £3.20 (unless your child receives free school meals).
