Optional Parent/Teacher Meetings

Dear Parents/Carers,
At the last Parent Council meeting an item was raised to ask about the possibility of having an extra catchup meeting with the class teacher this term.  This is not a pupil progress meeting that we have when reports are produced in February. This is an optional catch up after the first half term to explore any matters that you have not had the chance to discuss with the teacher or key worker.

To enable this, we have cancelled staff meetings and clubs so that the staff are available to meet with you either after or before school on the week after half term.

Book a meeting directly with the teacher/key worker at a mutually convenient time.

Please remember next week the children are sharing their half term work with you in the class exhibitions.  These are on Tuesday and Wednesday – see the school calendar for timings.

This exhibition is even more special as we have an Art Exhibition within it.  The school has been taking part in the National Gallery Take One Picture Project  where the classes have created art pieces in response to the art work of Pieter de Hooch’s ‘The Courtyard of a House in Delft’. Each class has created something so different from paintings to gargoyles. Each class will be sharing these at the Class Exhibitions, you will be able to look at all the art pieces in different classes so please take a little extra time to see them all.

Kind regards,

Mrs Curtis
