Dear Parent/Carer,
Since the Surrey Environment Partnership’s Rethink Waste scheme launched, it has awarded £18,500 to 22 Surrey primary schools, thanks to Surrey residents who’ve taken part. Now, with £3,000 up for grabs, you can make a real difference to local children and help our school by signing up!
As part of our eco-project, we hope to purchase litter pickers to teach our children the value of caring for the environment—both at school and in our local community.
How does it work?
Each month from January to March 2025, the two schools with the most points will win a share of £1,000 to fund an environmental project.
Why should you take part?
Nearly 11,000 Surrey households have joined Rethink Waste, completing over 165,000 waste-reducing activities. Together, they’re helping the planet while saving Surrey councils money on waste disposal.
The scheme has already supported amazing projects like outdoor classrooms, raised garden beds, litter-picking kits, and guinea pig homes.
With your help, our school could be next!
It’s easy and only takes a few minutes:
Together, we can reduce waste and give our school a chance to fund this exciting eco-project.
Best wishes
The office team
