Dear Parent/Carer, 

I am excited to inform you that we have invited Skipping Workshops to Ash Grange on Thursday 23rd January to teach skipping skills to every class from YR to Y6 at no cost to parents. Children will take part in modern and traditional skipping games and learn individual rope tricks, speed skills, and 'Double Dutch' techniques. Please follow this link to access videos of the activities that children will be taking part in.

The school will be investing in a variety of skipping ropes after the workshop so that children can continue to develop their skipping skills at break and lunch time. 

Skipping ropes will also be available for parents / carers to buy after school on Thursday. The Skipping Workshops coach will be located outside the main entrance of the school from 3:15pm. Please see the price list below. Both card and cash payment are accepted:

• Speed ropes (light and easy to turn)- £6

• Colour change solar ropes - £7

• Adult ropes (suitable for taller children) - £7

• 4m family ropes - £8

• 2 x 4m Double Dutch set - £14

All children will need to wear their Ash Grange PE kit for the skipping workshops on Thursday 23rd January, this week. Thank you in advance for your support with this.
