Dear Parent/Carer,
To widen our experience to start our Summer 2 class project on Beachcombers, we are going to visit West Wittering Beach on Wednesday 18th June 2025. We will be doing many different activities including observing the tide, looking at the key features of the beach, shell hunt, beach art and paddling in the sea (No swimming).
This trip is a wonderful opportunity to bring our learning to life.
We will be travelling by coach, departing from school at 9:00 AM and returning to Ash Grange at approximately 4:00pm.
Your child will need to wear shorts with school polo shirt and a sunhat (hopefully!) Suncream to have been applied before coming to school. (We will re-apply during the day if needed.) Also bring a small towel as they will be paddling in the water’s edge.
Your child will need to:
Bring a backpack (for their lunch to go into) a water bottle and a small towel.
The required contribution for this trip is £15, which can be paid via Scopay or at the school office using cash or card. We kindly ask that all contributions be made by Friday, 30th May 2025. Please note that if we do not receive the necessary contributions by this date, we will unfortunately have to cancel the trip.
