Dear Parent/Carer,
Starting after Easter, Year 6 children will have the opportunity to come on to the school grounds in the morning independently, between 8.35-8.45, until they are in the care of the Classteacher. This is a great step in building their confidence and responsibility as they prepare for secondary school.
If you would like your child to participate then please prepare them for this responsibility. This is a privilege for the children and they are expected to wait on the top playground, to not play games or use their phones - as we do currently. If any child does not behave in this safe and responsible manner this privilege will be withdrawn.
No permission slip or form is required for this arrangement.
