What my child will be learning this year

Our Current Topic is ‘Why do leaves go crispy?’

The man pulled the turnip, and the wife pulled the man, but the ENORMOUS turnip just wouldn’t budge!

This half term we are exploring Autumn, Bonfire night and celebrations. We will be looking at themed songs and stories to learn about different festivals and celebrations around the world.

The new projects run for the second half of the Autumn term.

Help your child to prepare for their project

  • Explore colour mixing and mark making through using paints and chalks.
  • Go out and about and discover seasonal changes and nature.
  • Share books and photos about celebrations, festivals and traditions.
