Teeny Funzone is our wrap around care facility for children in our school aged 2- 4 who attend either Nursery 1 or 2 classes. It is a play and relaxation space not a homework space.
Our Aim is that: Children can enjoy breakfast or after school care in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
The entrance to the Funzone is via the small gate of Nursery 1 (purple room) class.
Payment for Funzone is in advance by Childcare Vouchers or using our online payment system Scopay.
Registration
We accept Ash Grange Pupils from Nursery 1 and 2 classes for out of school hour’s childcare within our Teeny Funzone.
Please complete this terms and conditions either in person or online prior to the start of your booking.
If your contact details change, please inform us immediately.
Booking Procedures
Before School and Afterschool Teeny Funzone is available 38 weeks per year (term time only) for the times stated below:
New bookings can be taken at any time prior to the day of the booking, subject to space being available due to existing staffing ratios.
Teeny Funzone is not available afterschool on the last day of each term.
Payment
You are required to pay the fees at the time of booking, places will not be provided without payment.
Attendance and Conditions of Usage
Please inform the office staff as soon as possible if your child is unable to attend for any reason. If 1 working day notice made in person (not on the answering machine) you will not be charged. If less than 1 working day notice is given you will be charged the full cost. A working day is classed as Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.15pm during term time.
If your child is observed to be ill during their session, we will contact you or a named contact to collect your child as soon as possible.
If your child is ill and you have not cancelled the session it will be charged to you.
Ash Grange Primary School will require your written consent in line with school policy to administer any prescribed medicines and may make suitable medical decisions and seek medical help if we are unable to make contact with any of the individuals listed on your registration form. We reserve the right to refuse to administer medication.
If the school has an emergency closure you will have payment refunded but we will not be liable for any claim for loss of earnings or alternative child care.
Late Collection
Teeny Funzone closes at 4.15pm; there are no staff members to provide late collection cover.
If you are late due to an emergency contact the Teeny Funzone staff as soon as possible on 01252 328589
Late collection will incur a charge of £5 per 15 or part 15 minutes per child. Payment of late collection fee must be paid prior to your child attending any further Funzone sessions.
Ash Grange Primary School reserves the right to withdraw access to Teeny Funzone for repeat late collection of your child.
Rules of Conduct
In order to keep our children safe, do not hold doors open for others to follow you in.
To protect the privacy of the children mobile phones and cameras are not to be used by visiting adults within the school.
Personal Possessions
We accept no liability for the damage or loss of any personal items whilst attending Teeny Funzone.
General Terms
We will give you one month’s notice of any change in the fee schedule or any change in these terms and conditions.
