Nursery 1, 2 and Reception Class Sports Day – Wednesday 22nd May 2024
Dear Parents/Carers,
Our Nursery and Reception Sports Day will be on Wednesday 22nd May from 10:45am to 11:45am on the school field.
Sports Day is a fun and active day that allows students to experience friendly competition both as an individual and within a team. The ethos of our Sports Day is enjoyment and participation for all.
Uniform and Equipment: Nursery children will need to wear suitable clothing to take part in sporting activities (no sandals or vest tops please!) and bring a named sun hat. Please also ensure that your child is wearing sun cream before arriving at school. Reception children will need to wear their Ash Grange PE kit and bring a named hat too.
Parent/Carer Support: We would like to invite up to 2 parents / carers per child to attend and we would look forward to seeing you there. Please access the school field via the gate at the bottom of the staff car park.
Nursery Parents: All Nursery children are invited to the early year's sports day on Wednesday 22nd May. If your child normally attends the afternoon session, they can join us at 10.45am on the field for the event. They will join the class for their afternoon session following the sports morning.
If your child normally attends the afternoon session and they are unable to attend the morning session to participate in sports day, then they will come in at normal time to enjoy their afternoon session.
Reception Parents: The Reception children will be taken to the field by the Reception Class team, where they will meet their parents/ guardians.
