Dear Parent/Carer, 

The children in School Council have requested some special menu days. Each class voted for their top choices. As a result of this there will be changes to our current menu on the following dates, Thursday 6th June, Wednesday 12th June, Monday 17th June and Monday 22nd July. On these days we will serving our theme day Menu’s. Children will have a different choice for their red or green options; however, the seasonal menu will remain the same.  Theme days add an element of excitement and fun to school meals, making lunchtime more enjoyable for children.

Here is a sneak peek at our themed lunch days:

June

6th June - D-Day

• Red - Baked battered fish and chips

• Green - Homity pie (cheese and potato pastry pie)

• ON THE SIDE - Mushy peas or baked beans

• TO FINISH - Whip or bread pudding

12th June - Sports Day

• Red - Pizza Swirl or 1/3 pork sausage roll

• Green – Pizza Swirl or 1/3 veggie sausage roll

• ON THE SIDE - Crudité and dip

• TO FINISH - Scone and jam or Fruit wedges

17th June - Father's Day

• Red - Pork Sausage and cheese bap

• Green - Veggie Pizza Stromboli

• ON THE SIDE - Chips or dice potatoes and baked beans

• TO FINISH - Ginger sponge

July

July 22nd Leavers' Lunch

• Red - Katsu chicken with brown or white rice

• Green - Pizza with assorted toppings (Margarita, pepperoni, ham and pineapple, mix peppers and sweetcorn)

• ON THE SIDE – Garden peas or baked beans

• TO FINISH – Rice Krispie cakes

Teachers will be provided with the menu in class for the relevant dates, so the children are still able to book their meals on the day.
